Web Case Study

For this study,

I have chosen to focus on my web project we completed last semester. The goal for this project was to design a landing page for a theme park. The page had to include everything about the park including it's opening hours, possible activities reachable to the public and, if there's lodging or entree fees, the prices. Additionally, because this project was in collarberation with out french course, we also had to include a function to translate the page in French.

Design Process.

I have chosen to focus on my web project we completed last semester. The goal for this project was to design a landing I've decided to base this project on the Dutch theme park, Eftling Park. The park revolves around a mythical fairytale theme, and uses warm colors and photography to showcase on their own website. I carried on over these elements to my rendition of the site.

Color Scheme.

Challenges.

The main challenge for this project was to process all the information and translate everything correctly. Luckily, everything was understandable and I had a lot of material to work with. Nevertheless, there was also an issue with interactivity and page layout. Unfortunately, those were the things I couldn't overcome and settled for a static page with easy readability.

Outcome.

Overall, I am satisfied with the outcome of this project. I could translate all the information correctly and the page is easy to read. However, I do wish I could have made the page more interesting.
